We Use "One-Liners" To Help Business Owners
Why? Because they are useful and easy to remember!
It's not all about our one-liners because most of our guest speakers share their ones as well. This one is from John Wood, Founder if Lifestyle Villages where he tells us it is OK the in business we may go "off course" occasionally. Here is the video of John's one-liner, followed by the transcript if you prefer to read it!

"It's perfect that you go in the wrong direction. If you ring up a cab, if you ring up a taxi, what's the first thing they want to know?
(Audience) Where you're going?
No! The first thing they need to know is where are you?
And that's really important. In Business you need to know where you are.
And then the second question is where you're going. And if you get in and drive, with the cab driver taking you, he is going that direction, then he's going that direction, then he's going that direction, and eventually you get to where you're going. But you don't get there from going straight there. You get there from going the wrong direction, and correcting course, until you get closer and closer and closer. But if you're really clear where you are, where you're going they're just essential in business."
